Welcome to the first authentic Montessori Learning Centre of Newfoundland & Labrador (MontessoriNL). The MontessoriNL will be fully operational in September 2009. Interested parents/guardians are encouraged to contact the Centre. Parent Information Sessions will be offered in the Fall 2009.
MontessoriNL is inspired by the educational pioneering work done by Dr. Maria Montessori in the early 20th century. The core thrust of the Montessori Program revolves around the unique concrete materials that Montessori created to aid in the educational development of children. These materials along with sound developmental psychology are still used today in Montessori Centres throughout the world.
